Explore India’s Wartime History with the “Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan” App
On
January 15, 2025, coinciding with Army Day celebrations, Defence Minister
Rajnath Singh unveiled a revolutionary app, “Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan.”
Developed collaboratively by the Ministries of Defence and Tourism, this app is
a gateway for citizens to delve into India’s historic battlefields and the
valorous tales of its armed forces.
The
“Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan” app is designed to promote connectivity, tourism,
and socio-economic growth in India’s border areas. By transforming these
regions into tourist destinations, the Indian Army aims to provide visitors
with a closer look at the challenges and heroism of soldiers stationed in these
remote and often inhospitable terrains.
